Okay, I purchased a new iPhone and transfered all my apps to it. I had a Google Authenticator app that was used for Two-Step Verification codes. It was used exclusively for logging in to my admin on Xenforo. When I got the new phone the app asked me to set up the app again. I am trying to do this, but Xenforo won't let me log in to my admin account because it's asking for the auth code.
Well, I eventually found my backup code and was able to get in to Xenforo. Here I disabled the two-step verification so that I could continue to log in to the software.
The problem now is that I can not ENABLE two-step in my account for some reason. I am not given that option. Also, I have no idea how to re-activate the google app for the verification codes. My email for the account never was a google address.
Any ideas? I would have only downloaded the google auth app from some instructions I found for setting it up to begin with and can't find those instructions.
