I have a staff member trying to use two-step verification. Despite ticking the 30-day "trust this device" option, the next login either hours or a day later always requires a new two-step code to be generated.
What is used to save that 30-day expiration on a person's computer? Is this via a cookie? Or is it saved somewhere in XenForo? We're trying to troubleshoot. His web surfing device is apparently an ipad so I wouldn't know what to offer to check, but it's also happening on his desktop (I'm asking what he uses there). His provider is Comcast (he actually works for them, as a video producer). I've asked him to be sure date and time are in sync--that was my first thought.
We're on XF 1.5 for another couple of weeks, then upgrading to 2.2. But I would imagine it working the same in either one...?
