XF 2.2 Turning Off Unfurling (and fixing it, too)

How can I turn off unfurling? At the moment, when a link is posted on our forum, the unfurling mechanism shows "You are being redirected ..." and does not actually unfurl the URL.

I would love to solve the problem and appreciate suggestions if you have them, but in the meantime, I'd like to turn off unfurling of URLs - how, in the ACP, can I do that across my entire board?

It sounds like something external is at play.

The actual function you can disable in the ACP is Unfurl URL to a rich preview automatically .
