im trying to get this to work in my thread to hide link and stuff so they have to reply to see the links

How are you trying to get it to work exactly?

Have you installed a third party bb code add-on and created the bb code?

Search in the Resource Manager for bb code add-ons.
For support with any add-ons, ask in the discussion thread.

You can always wait until 1.3 is released as stable - that has bb code built in.
