I'm trying to complete this tutorial:

Things seem to have gone mostly well so far, but I am unable to save the feature threads option on nodes:
It's unchecked again every time I revisit the node.
Can anyone point me to the "most likely" problem? Have I likely just edited a class or something else wrong? Probably! First time I've attempted anything like this and I'm not sure the tutorial is really meant to be a guide for dummies.
P.S. Doing this on a local WAMP install, if it matters.
