Hello everyone,

Thank you for checking out the Advanced Traffic Counter & Forum Statistics! This add-on was designed to give administrators a deep look into their forum traffic with a modern and stylish sidebar widget.

Installation Instructions:​

  1. Upload: Upload the contents of the upload folder to your XenForo root directory.
  2. Install: Go to Admin Control Panel > Add-ons and click the Install button for this add-on.
  3. Configure: Navigate to Setup > Options > Statistiche Avanzate Config to set up your preferences (GeoIP limits, latest members style, AMS integration, etc.).
  4. Widget: Go to Appearance > Widgets and add the "Advanced Statistics" widget to your desired position (usually Forum Sidebar).

Important Note on Language:​

Please note that this initial release is currently in Italian. However, all labels and titles are managed through the XenForo Phrases system, making it very easy for you to translate them into your own language via the ACP.

Roadmap:

  • English Language Pack: A full native English translation will be included in the upcoming versions.
  • More customization options for the counter display.

Branding Removal:​

This add-on is supported by a small branding link at the bottom of the widget. If you wish to remove it, we have an automated license system:

  • Click the donation link provided in the add-on description.
  • Upon a successful donation (min. 1€), our PayPal IPN system will instantly send your unique unlock code to your PayPal email address.
  • Enter the code in the add-on options to remove the copyright:

"In the latest release (v1.2.0), the build script missed the branding image folder. This will be officially fixed in the next update. In the meantime, please download the attached zip and upload the content so the path is: styles/statistiche/stats.png. Apologies for the inconvenience!"

Version 1.2.1

Fixed: Missing branding image in the package.

This update fixes an issue in the previous release where the branding image folder (styles/statistiche/) was accidentally omitted from the ZIP file.

My apologies for the inconvenience; as we know, when coding, a tiny oversight in the build script is all it takes!

No changes have been made to the database or core logic. If you already have v1.2.0 installed, simply overwrite the files with this new version to ensure your file health check...

Also, sure you are using the v1.2.1 zip, as it contains the correct folder structure required by the automated installer. If you receive a specific error message, please share it so I can assist you better.

"Hi! No worries, this is a common confusion.

The Widget key is not a license key or a code you need to buy. It is simply a unique ID that you create right now to identify this specific widget in your system.

You can type anything you want in that field (alphanumeric, no spaces).For example, just type: traffic_stats_sidebar

Then save, and it will work!"

"Hi!The flags should appear automatically, but please check these 3 points:

  1. New Visits Only: The geolocation is not retroactive. Flags will only appear for new visitors accessing the site after the installation. If you just installed it, wait for some new traffic.
  2. Check the Option: Go to Admin CP > Options > Advanced Traffic Statistics and ensure the "Enable GeoIP" option is checked.
  3. Missing Database File: If you installed via FTP, ensure you uploaded the _data folder correctly.Check via FTP if this specific file exists on your server:src/addons/Statistiche/_data/GeoLite2-Country.mmdb
