Add-on Top Liked Posts of The Day/Week/Month

#1
This is just a random idea I thought of the other day. I think it would be cool to display the top liked posts of the past day/week/month/whatever somewhere within XenForo (maybe the sidebar... maybe as a tab.)

It would give users incentive to post meaningful content in order to get people to Like it, and it would also give people a quick reference of good content to check out. Win-win all around.

Anyway, just wanted to throw the idea out there!

Here is what we are making now. This includes posts rating too (not XF likes).
Interesting! I was thinking of something simpler, using just the default likes system and showing an excerpt of the posts in the sidebar (with the like count + author name + thread) or have make a "Top Content" tab which would list the top posts from different time ranges, showing again the post excerpt, author name, thread link, and probably author avatar.

Something like the "Recent Comments" widget on my homepage (right sidebar towards the bottom): http://www.sixprizes.com/

And then as far as the tabbed page, something like this: http://www.sixprizes.com/top-rated/ or http://www.sixprizes.com/top-rated/month/ or http://www.sixprizes.com/top-rated/year/

(Those pages are all WordPress. I'd try my hand at this but I don't know how to code very well in XF.)

Very cool! All it needs is the ability to filter by pre-specified dates ranges (past day, past week, past month, etc.) and it would be perfect.

I just tried Googling to find a download link but it looks like xenfans is down, as well as xteam.info. Does anyone have the files on hand?
I am personally glad to hear the pirate site distributing our copyrighted work is unreachable.
That said, since xenfans.com is closed at this point you can not get a copy. Please refrain from asking others to share a .zip, as no one is allowed to distribute the files. You're always free to request Floris via email for a copy.
