No, don't have that either.

I have 3 other add ons; photopost intergration 1.0, Calendar 1.4, tab help 1.0

Maybe it's not playing well with one of these?

I'm getting an error message when enabling this add on:

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/n484092/public_html/forum/library/XenTrCom/TodayBirthday/Controller/Public.php on line 13
Any idea what this means?

Thanks,

Bob

The error that you posted is caused by that other add on linked above.

@borbole Maybe I misunderstand the functionality. It is present in the members page - but I want it also present on the index/home page. Is this possible? I have read the 2 discssion pages 3 times and I cannot really understand if this is possible. Thaks.

Yes, that is possible. It will list today 's birthdays on the sidebar.

What can I do in order to make that happen?

You don''t need to do anything, only install it. At my previous post about enabling the settings, it was a misunderstanding. I confused it with another mod btw.

Do you use any custom theme by any chance?

I do have the add on loaded and it is working of course beause B'days are visible on member page - I just would like it in the sidebar too . . . .

Yes I use a theme by Audentio Design but I never had a add on not be compatible with it - my forum is woodbarter.com

From the look of it the sidebar part has been changed quite a lot in that theme. Most likely that is the cause of the mod not working for you.

Would there be a way to override member's non-selection of "Show day and month of birth" just for that day so that they are featured in the "Today's Birthday" panel?
