XF 2.2 Thread view permissions

Is there a way to change permissions for a specific thread? For example- if I don’t want certain members to see a thread, can I add them to a group and just block one thread from them? I know it’s possible to make an entire node not viewable but we would like to do it at a thread level. Is this an addon?

Permissions do not go down to the thread level.

It would require an add-on or custom development.
