Can you explain this a little more?

When I created a redirect for a thread, then when clicking in thread_list on the thread title, it will redirect me to the redirected page or what?

That's pretty much it in a nutshell, yes

Ah, ok, thanks.
Maybe another idea. Can you do a redirect for the create_thread_button? So in a node, when a redirect is created, if someone wants to open a thread, the create thread button will redirect you to somewhere else.

Convert to Redirect

This version adds the ability to convert existing threads to a redirect.

To do this, the user needs permission to create thread redirects as well as to edit threads.

The convert link appears in the Thread Tools drop down.

Anyway, if you use this function only for yourself as admin, you can use it.
