Thread Icons - Replace the avatar for first post in threads with a custom image.

About this add-on

This add-on is designed to give groups the ability to add an icon to replace the avatars in own threads, or any threads. The uploaded icon will be the avatar for the thread starter for the first post of that particular thread.

The uploaded icon will show as the thread starter 's avatar in thread list, in recent posts and in searching.

Whenever someone deletes a thread 's icon, it will be logged on the moderator log in the Admin Panel....

suggestion,


1. please make thread icon also show in forum_list, node icon
2. make option: first [ img ] is always thread icon
3. last post thread icon in forum list



i don't want users upload icon because most usres are lazy and they won't do it,
so i want first image in post always become thread icon,
i also want thread icon to be seen from forum_list

also i want to pick which nodes can have automatic thread icon

many more suggestions! please make this into big add-on

I do think that these fall outside the scope for this add on sir. And as such, it will require an add on of its own. Please contact me in private if you are willing to fund its developement.

Can this work on widgets too?

What widgets do you mean sir? The ones from the bd Widget Framework add on? My add on does not add anything in the sidebar. It adds only on thread view and a.f.a.i.k that other add on does not alter that part. So in theory it should work.
