XF 1.1 Thread Approval

How I want to set it:

• 1 forum
• Threads only
• Certain usergroup

How do I do this?

Have you tried turning on moderation rules for that particular forum and then adjust the target usergroup's moderation policy?

That's my most immediate guess for one forum and one particular user group.

(...but it would affect posts too... I just realized)

The current system doesn't allow you to set moderation for one group in one forum. This has been requested before. Currently you can only do an entire forum or an entire group:

Admin CP -> Applications -> Display Node Tree -> [click the forum] -> Moderate all messages posted in this forum

Admin CP -> Users -> List User Groups -> [click the group] -> Follow message moderation rules
