It is useless to cling to an instrument that is not alive or that has been declared as such. I recommend you uninstall it and use other alternatives from other developers who keep their extensions.

Unfortunately there's not such an alternative at the moment.
 
Remember to ask @Bob privately. You won't see all of its assets publicly. For the rest of Open Source I think differently, but I don't want to dwell on the reasoning and take the subject off topic.

Is this addon going to be tweaked to fix this minor error please?

I can see we only have 1.0.6 listed on the resource here which was released in June 2020, I can see what looks like a fix for this error was applied in January 2021. You can get an updated version here for free with coupon code DISPLAYCONTENT

And the uploaded custom image is not displaying on either Chrome or Firefox. I'm not blocking ads.

The HTML for the image is

If I remove the srceset tag, the image appears. Is there a problem with the HTML in the featured thread widget?

For now I have edited thfeature_macros to remove the srcset tag to fix the issue.

Why ThemeHouse doesn't update this thread with newer version releases if this add-on actually gets updates?

Seems like updates haven't been pushed since Jun 11, 2020 on this thread.
 
Hi-

Am I missing something? I'm on 2.2. I expected this add-on to create a Featured Content page that created a Nav link in the main navbar. I see it on the first example image on this add-on's overview page.

Is this something I need to create or is it a bug?
 
I don’t think it does automatically, but can be added in the public navigation. Should be able to be found at the url,

yoursite.com/featured
 
It's not working. The page is there but it's throwing off an error saying No Content Matches Your Filters. Then it is showing my slider, even though I didn't place it there.

I realize this is a free add-on but wish it was easier to implement.
