What does the current branding look like?
Mention of an 'optional' shop system...I assume that's not within this add-on. When is that going to be released? Price?

You do not need the shop extension to purchase credits with PayPal. That is a feature included with the core, the shop is used to purchase products with credits.

I don't think so, as the it is required to have the core to buy the shop, so there would be no point in a discount for the shop if you already own the core.

Sure is, by default it's 'adcredit'. Though, if you add other currencies it will be whatever you set as the ID for that currency

Can i please kindly request that the footer copyright be only present on pages directly related to the addon. i.e. purchase credits screen, how much credits you got etc. I personally dislike seeing additional copyright information from addons when they arent really related although i can imagine the lines are blurred with this addon as you can earn credits by posting or likings posts.

Personally I would only be using this to accept payments and storing a credit balance/ and maybe promoting them to a different usergroup, rather than using events such as posting etc to increase credit balance. Only way to have a credit balance would be via paypal. Intention is then to use the balance to use with the optional shop addon. Is it possible to use the shop addon without this? Based on the above, is this addon an overkill for my personal usage in your opinion? For example can i use the shop addon with the xenforo core 'upgrade account'?

Sorry about so many questions. Trying to determine how it all hangs together and what is my best course of action.

That is, unfortunately, not possible as all of our add-ons use the same code to display the branding so making a change like this would break it on all of them.

You could probably accomplish something like this without the shop add-on as well using the built in XenForo usergroup promotion system as there is a condition for credits. However, this will not remove credits when they are upgraded to that group, just keep them in that group as long as they have > X credits.

Nope, the shop add-on requires the credits add-on as that is the currency used by it.

I don't think it'd be overkill, just depends what your needs are.

The shop add-on contains a separate usergroup upgrade feature, you cannot use credits for the one that is built into XenForo.
