XF 2.3 Template modification based on another template modification

I'm adding some changes after another template modification made by an addon.
What is the most efficient way to do this?
Thank you

You can change the execution order on your template modifications to make sure they're applied in the correct order.

Of course. The addon template modification order is 10 and I have my modifcation order at 100.
However, I want to do a simple replacement and content of the find box is the content of the replace box from the addon.
I test it and it doesn't seem to find and apply the change.

I, honestly, haven't messed with template modifications enough to know how they work but I'd expect what you're doing to work.

Maybe try setting your find to the same as the other one, then lower your execution order so yours will run first. Then maybe the other one won't find anything.

Also, are you using the test button or are you actually saving it and finding out if it works? I wouldn't expect it to work using the test button because that probably only looks at the default template, pre-modification, and only the current template modification.

If you're trying to apply yours after another, I wouldn't expect the test to show how that would work.
