Plugin provides the ability to log in via Telegram and basic code events for implementing bots with XF.
By default, plugin implements two ways for authenticating: default Telegram OAuth Button and "dialog with bot" (for cases when button doesn't displayed because user lives in country with censorship (hello from Russia)).

okay I tried the same functionality on a Xen forum I manage and I am constantly getting this error.

When I try to associate an already existing user to telegram, it works perfectly.
But when I try to register a new user, the telegram button asks to go the bot. The bot shows a login link and when we click on that link, we get the error.

Yes.

Addon is open sourced and placed on GitHub. You can ask any specialist review him, if you worried about hacking.

... only if you have any problems with displaying primary button on page (such as blocking Telegram domains/IPs from your local laws).

This addon provides only basic logic for wrapping Telegram API for integration with XF (like authorization). Text you are mentioned displayed by XF, not my addon.

I am sorry @Kruzya . Did your 3 Telegram addons has the similar function of @021 addon? I'm a bit confused.

Yes. I like the modular system, because user can install only what he want.

Also, i use very lightweight third party library for interacting with Telegram what gives me small size for resulting addon archive. Just compare 1.51Mb with 137Kb (Core) + 21Kb (Notifications) + 10Kb (Two Factor).

This is default phrase from XenForo and is named as password_of_x_account_wish_to_associate_with.

Kruzya updated [Telegram] Core with a new update entry:

Updated to 2.0.4

Implemented our own \XF::asVisitor() method wrapper. It also changes the active language and style (if required).
This should fix bug when authorization message is sended on default forum language. Now addon respects the selected user language anywhere this is possible.

Alright, I fully translated [Telegram] Core to Italian (it's the attached ZIP), but I'm still not sure about the meaning of smodders_tgcore.pending_update_count_explain...

On the other hand, the following strings misses the phrase at all:

• con_acc_desc.smodders_telegram
• option_explain.smodders_tgcore__actions
• option_group_description.smodders_telegram

I'll probably buy your [Telegram] Two Factor as well.. I'll think about it!

By the way, I still can't figure out if the language settings for these ones can be changed or not!

This phrases stored on Telegram site. We can't affect on text displayed in this window and in dialog with Telegram.

On the other hand, the following strings misses the phrase at all:

• con_acc_desc.smodders_telegram
• option_explain.smodders_tgcore__actions
• option_group_description.smodders_telegram

These phrases creates by XF and leaved empty because i don't filled some data. This is not bug.
