tried to upload an image for my blog and it caused server errors, I dont know why or how to fix it.

Hi, first of all thanks for this awesome plugin!

Is uninstalling then reinstalling the plugin safe to do in Xenforo Cloud 2.3.7 without losing the existing blog entries?

I wanted to make a change in the code regarding the blog post title character length, as I couldn't find a way to configure it in the control panel.

I wanted to make a change in the code regarding the blog post title character length, as I couldn't find a way to configure it in the control panel.

Not fully sure on it being safe to do on the cloud or not but the setup script does drop all of the DB tables created so I doubt it. With the update I put out for the bug posted above I'll add an option so Admins/permission holders can update the allowed length of a blog post title, tbh should have had that in from the beginning but was overlooked.

Update should hopefully be out tonight. Had some preoccupation with life situations and spent my time bug squashing and getting unit tests finally setup after fixing/adding the above two solutions.

• Can now set a blog post maximum title length (max of 300 chars for now until I figure out a better way and not rushing)

• Can now upload blog header images again without getting the Gd::requireImage() error

hmm, having an issue on my end where draft-posts are visible to all users and guests

Taylor J updated [TaylorJ] Blogs with a new update entry:

Bug Fixes:

• Only visible posts now visible in areas listing blog posts, people can no longer see an authors draft posts in user profile view for instance
• Un-reported draft posts bug where draft posts were getting lost into the void when being changed to a post now option on editing a draft blog post

Misc updates:

• Codebase updates to make more use of custom Finders for blogs and blog posts
