It's extremely unlikely that the Flash uploader will be replaced in a third point release.

Can we consider this issue reported now? It appears to be quite serious on phones. And has been for some time.

If a device doesn't support Flash, it can't use the Flash uploader and will fall back to the regular uploader.

Which comes back to 1 image at a time which is what my users are complaining about. This is a bad user experience on mobile.

Most devices no longer support flash and users prefer phones and tablets for uploading photos since they no longer use actual cameras. No one wants to email or connect their phone to a computer to upload a photo to a forum. (at least to use flash uploader)

They'll just use Facebook groups instead...

If you are suggesting a html5 uploader then its best to post this as a suggestion in the suggestions forum.

Big thanks for pointing that out. I will most likely install that.
I still would like to see this in the core. No offense though and I appreciate that add-on.
