Hey dark - nice work! I'm testing the chat for my page. I just have one problem: I have a smilie with this bbcode: :'-(
XenForo uses the " as - how to tell... escape character? - while you're using '.
So if it comes to the smilie list, the alt parameter/attribute of img would give a syntax issue. So I see two possibilities:
1. Escape the string before output
2. use " like xenforo.
To show you what I mean:
HTML:
<li><a href='javascript:;' class='taigachat_smilie'><img src='styles/default/xenforo/smilies/cry.png' alt=':'-(' title='Cry' /></a></li>
It's a minor problem and isn't a go or no go issue.

updated to 0.4.3.
In chrome, after click a smiley, the smiley drop down doesn't fold up.

Hi,

After uploading to 0.4.3 I have a problem with the smilies. When hovering over the smilie icon the window opens to the far left but taking your mouse off the smilie icon closes the smilie window.

Any ideas? And thank you for this add-on :)

Edit: Nevermind - posting a couple of messages in the chat seems to have fixed it.

Regards,
Renada

hi dark

do you have an archive depository file of your previous releases of taigachat?
also is it possible to rename the zip file into with version numbers at the end?
that will prevent downloading the old cached zip file in our browsers and some proxy servers.

The URL changes so I'd be very surprised if it were cached by a proxy server let alone a browser.

I've just noticed the popup view no longer works properly with the latest version.

All of the chat content is not visible until you actually enter a chat message and then it appears.

Strangely though it appears when logged out.

What browser? Working fine for me on your site in Firefox 4.

I'm using Chrome.

Let me try with FF and IE.

Edit: Yes, it looks like it's Chrome specific.

Confirmed here too, in Chrome and IE8.
