Lack of interest Support Markdown syntax for spoilers (like Discord)

It would be nice if that was supported in XenForo, too.

How is that different from an inline spoiler as we have it now in terms of functionality? Seems at first blush like it's just a shorter syntax which, since most people just use the toolbar icons, isn't a big advantage.

Yes, it's just a shorter syntax (like all Markdown markup supported by XenForo).
