There needs to be "see more suggestions" link below that drop-down list. ;)

As you type each letter of the member you are searching, the list shrinks. If you only know the first letter, then that would be too general to generate any list. How would a "see more suggestions" be beneficial?

As you said, if you type one letter the whole list pops-up. For those who have large communities that 1 character list will be long will be long, but valuable. Maybe limit the list to the 'Top 15' most likely users will be clicked. Then add the "see more suggestions" link if the user is not finding the correct results. :cool:

At the moment, it appears to be limited to the top 10 people that fit the criteria.

No lists pop-up for 1 letter. I tried it a few times. It is too general. The list generates on the second valid character.
