Lack of interest Suggestion - ability to display forum descriptions at the top of thread

Let's say you do some searches in the forums and click into a result and read the content. You post a reply. That reply gets deleted by a moderator saying that the particular forum you posted in isn't meant for the type of post you submitted. Yet, you would never have known unless you went into that thread through the main forum index page and drilled down that way to get exposed to the forum description or a sticky in the forum with special guidelines.

It might be a good idea to give admins the ability display the forum description up at the top of the thread if they desire so that the user is exposed to it in case there are any special rules for that forum. Just a thought.

Right, but if you're reading a thread without going through the forumdisplay view, like say, getting there from Google or the forum search, the member could miss the description that is posted in the forum view. This made me realize it could easily happen in our forums.
