XF 2.0 Style issue

I just migrated our site from 1.5.3 to 2.2. Unfortunately, a previous administrator made some modifications to the default style and it's not playing well with 2.2.
The face of the forum with the categories are scrunched to the left of the screen. Prior to turning on frames, the description of each forum went from horizontal reading, to almost vertical reading with a character width of 4 or 5.

Turning on frames solved this issue, but the categories now only consume about a third of the screen and is no scaling and the widgets place themselves below the catagories and will not adjust to the right of the forum list.

If I could fix this by simply overwriting some file that would put the forum back to a factory default style, that would be acceptable. If this is possible, which file would I use and is the file in the upgrade zip, or the full zip?

If you want a default style, you can simply create a new style in the ACP with no parent style.

Thanks, but I don't know if it's about creating a new style. I could be wrong. I did download a new style, and that was better than what came across by default. Can you take a look and make any suggestions?
BTW, it looks great on a phone, but on a pc, it's junk.

It doesn't look like we're using cloudflare, unless it's integrated into Xenforo by default. Any other ideas?

That seems to be the issue. The previous admin modified it and even gave it a new name... It's now called, "Christianforums style"... and I'm thinking this is the root of the issue.

There isn't a 'default xf style'... hard to believe, I know. I have two styles. Christianforums style which came from 1.5.3 , and uniform style, which I purchased for xf 2.

download xenforo again and upload default style, then try.

I'm looking at the full install package right now, and this is what I see in the zip file. The only file I really see index.html, which when you edit it, it's blank.... The index.html on the server is also blank :-( Otherwise, I would overwrite it. I'm at a loss...

To get the factory default style you need to create a new style yourself with no parent, not install a new style.

ACP > Styles > Add style

I get the same thing.... There has to be somthing that the style uses to format itself, like a css file ect. I'm not an html css guy. I do Java and database development... I'm a little out of my wheelhouse
