As a finishing touch in XF2.3, would you consider taking the theme selector in the footer to the top menu by default? I think it will not harm anyone because it will only be a button. Or more ideally, an option can be added for admin selection. I think a more visible positioning would be useful.

Footer also show a theme name option if you have another theme installed. So that would need to be added as well.

I could go for this. I don't have multiple themes/variants on my own site but am on sites that do and tend to forget the option is there.
