We could setup a system where users would simply add topics of interest in their profile and then AI would relate new discussions to those interests - and relay them to the user by email, notification, or an “interest feed”.It seems impossible for Xenforo itself to present the forum information available that the member wants to see. There is no attempt at trying to match content to the user. That passive approach lowers the usefulness of the forum to the user. Social Media users expect the content they want to be given to them.
