StarCraft 2 Identity

I'm pondering how someone would accomplish this, mostly for the fact that it requires both the username and character code (ie: Somesite | 485). Would there be a way to have two input fields for one identity, or should I just suggest they use the format above?

You could create an identity service and ask the users to use a separator (like Name | Code) and split them.
