Add-on Staff Room Unread for XF2?

Is anyone interested in creating a replacement to this (https://xenforo.com/community/threads/rt-staff-room-unread.57366/) for XF2?

It basically puts a link to certain forums in the modbar along with their unread count (we add our staff forum and our reports forum). It also allows any additional links (such as the ACP) to be included.

Thanks but we’ve decided not to bother after receiving some ridiculous quote. A simple template edit without the unread count will be enough.
