XF 2.1 Split a translation

I have found a half baked translation for my forum language, but it is a full translation.
That means that the Admin pages is also translated. And to me, that is just awful and makes the work cumbersome.
So I want to split the file to remove all the admin translation.

Is there something to go on in order to accomplish this?
First is to remove everything with the prefix "admin_" but there is so much more...

And yes, I know that a workaround for me is to use the original language, but then I miss translation errors in the forum parts...

There is no separate admin phrases, the phrases are shared between the front- and backend, so what you want to do is not possible. If you want a different language for the Admin CP, create a new language (or use existing English language phrase set), and then use the language selector located at bottom right corner of the Admin CP.
