XF 2.3 Split a Topic from first post.

I managed to move a post but the first post went with it.

I managed to move a post but the first post went with it.

I've done this many times, it obviously is not to supposed to do that. I moved some posts today and as expected only the posts I'd marked for moderation moved. Are you sure this is a reproducible issue with no 3rd party addons or themes active?

First time I've had to move a post.

Looking back I should of experimented how to do it before I even opened the damn thing.

Yes, try it on a test forum, or start off with copy not move, however I cannot see how using move any post (further down than post 1) can also move post 1. Unless of course you'd inadvertantly also ticked the tickbox for post 1.

But even so the dialogue box lets you know what's going to happen, see here it says 1 post(s) so that lets me know it's only going to move the one posts I ticked.
