As designed Spam cleaning mistakenly deletes reports made against the spammer

I'm not sure if this is intentional and should be a suggestion instead, but when you click "Spam" on a user's posts it deletes the report(s) other users made about it. I'd like to keep records of spammers, mods that dealt with it, users who reported it, etc.

I had all options checked for spam cleaning, so it's possible just one of the options is what's deleting the report.

The reports are closed, not deleted.

And that is the intended and desired behaviour. Often the spam cleaning will occur from within the report which reported the spam in the first place so manually having to handle the report after that is an extra step that isn't required.
