Upon upgrading to the latest version, with the fix, no one can post to the forum. It says to check the javascript server logs, but I don't see anything in the logs. Can I downgrade? I hate to delete the plug-in, since I've got all sorts of settings in there.
Sorry to hear that but are you using PHP < 5.3.0? You could downgrade but you would miss new functionalities.

I upgraded to Xenforo 1.1.5 yesterday evening and woke up to a full inbox of new registrations. Unfortunately, they all seem to be fake :(

Has anyone else noticed this? Am I right in thinking that the upgrade might have removed a code snippet for Stop Spam Here? If so, what is the snippet and where does it need to be added, as it seems to be broken at the moment.

It's still blocking registrations on my site. (21 just this morning so far).

sorry, i realised the upgrade has thrown out my KeyCaptcha, which blocked a lot of spammers. So no problem with Stop Spam Here. Although, shouldn't it stop spammers anyway if a Captcha is not in place?

Yes, they are completely separate systems. If you're not already, you should install these additions to the Stop Spam Here addon:

Yep, I have both of them up and running. Had a look at the log and they are stopping a lot of spammers. Guess the 60 registrations that slipped through in the 24 hour window weren't known spammers / managed to get around it.

If you do not care about the log then it would work without notify you that it is working :D

Fixed. I had this in the registration check:

!=>10
#=>10
*=>10
[=>10

I wanted to do a check if users have ! # * [ on their usernames.

Have you check your spam/bulk folder? I have just approved your registration. Sorry for this inconvenience.

I have checked the email log, the email could not be sent because your mail server's policy is high:
status=deferred (host mx.east.cox.net[68.1.17.3] refused to talk to me: 554 eastrmimpi212 cox xxx.xx.xxx.xx rejected - no rDNS - Refer
to Error Codes section at http://postmaster.cox.net/confluence/display/postmaster/Error+Codes for more information.)
Since this requirement is controlled by ISP, my email server does not meet it and the connection was rejected.

Just wanted to add I purchased sonnb's addon last week and I am very happy with it. Myself as a developer, I like how it's coded (clean, easy to read), and it does its job well. (y)
