Let me dispel any assumptions regarding possible comparisons to recent American gorefests like The Deer Hunter (1978) and Hot Fuzz (2007), because this is a very different movie.

What the hell drugs are this person on and who the heck does he think would compare the latest Resident Evil movie to The Deer Hunter of all things? I don't even want to contemplate his inclusion of Hot Fuzz here.

I'd have compared it to the Barney movie, because that definitely gave me nightmares for years.
