According to Mike, the IP address will start appearing in 'Contact Us' emails with XenForo 1.4.2, so you may not even need this add-on!

But it's still bloody useful in the interim. Thanks for doing it, Dave :)

Did this add-on become useless after 1.4.2?

More or less, unless you need the USER_AGENT (browser details) of the person contacting you.

    Hi @SneakyDave,

Is that so? The email messages we receive from the Contact Us form do not contain any IP address. Or am I missing something?

    Thanks!

What version of XenForo are you using? I'll do some investigation

Are you using an addon with your Contact Us form for XenForo? The stock Xenforo includes the IP address in the text for "The following message has been sent from xxxxxxx (IP: yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy) via the contact form at [your website]"

Thanks a lot for your reply :)

I've fixed the issue. It had to do with an outdated phrase (translation) of my XenForo site.

    Thanks!
