XF 1.5 Soft delete all user's posts and retain any attachments

I have had a user request all of his content be removed. The user has just over 1,000 posts.

I would like to soft delete rather than hard delete these posts and also retain any attachments.

I have searched the forums but cannot find a definitive answer on the best way to achieve this. I read a post saying use the Spam cleaner but i can't see the "Spam" link at the bottom of any of this user's posts.

Can someone please advise the best way to soft delete all of a user's posts?

Thanks for the help, but I'm looking to soft delete posts by one user across dozens of threads.

Batch update threads appears to remove entire threads? I just want to target posts by one user.
