XF 1.5 Socket Access forbidden ??

I have started getting the following errors today:

Zend_Mail_Protocol_Exception: Email to xxxx@xxxxxxx.com failed (after retry): An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. - library\Zend\Mail\Protocol\Abstract.php:277

and

Zend_Mail_Protocol_Exception: Email to xxxx@xxxxxxx.com failed: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. - library\Zend\Mail\Protocol\Abstract.php:277

What could be the reasons?

If it has started happening suddenly without any changes made by you, contact your host - it could be a firewall or other server level issue.
