This is running on my site. http://snogssite.com/groups/

You need to register to join a group if you wish to see everything available in that group.

Very cool Addon, is there an Option to disable the Picture Feature?

    The photo album? Yes.

Same goes with the banner in the group list. You can change to text, avatar or banner.

    Importing isn't possible.

But, if all of the posts for that add-on are entirely in the XF forum system you could create new groups in this one move the posts into the new group's forum.

The only drawback is members of that group system would have to re-join their groups in this one.

You can test it on my site.

Once you're registered, let me know and I'll put you in a user group that has permission to create a group.

    Post ratings?

Do you have a link to it?

Seeing as how this was just released today, I'm not aware of any add-on it's not compatible with.

Does this allow group owners to set privacy permissions whether group content is public, member or private? What about invite only groups / apply to join process?

If you setup your groups to use forum groups and not discussion groups and then post rating works the same as it would in a normal forum. This is how I have it working on my forum.

Yes you able to set the permissions up this way. As far as the invite goes it does not have this feature but @Snog is normally open to suggestion for these type of improvements .

DaveM was correct with his answer, but I'll expand on it a little bit.

Invite only groups would be basically the same as a private group. If someone requests membership, you would just deny membership, explaining that the group is invite only. In addition, you could put that the group is invite only in the group description which is always visible to everyone.

Apply to join I never thought of. But, that is something that would tie in well with Advanced Application Forms. I'll put that on the wish list.
