XF 1.4 smtp settings storage

Hi,

Some person somehow got password to account used to send emails via SMTP.
How AND where xenforo store external SMTP details that can be set in "Email Options"?
File? Database? Is it in plain text?

It is stored in the database in plain text.

Plain text is the only way to store it as it has to be used to login to the SMTP server.
