Yesterday my Skype "updated" it's self to what appears to be a new version, and I have been unable to connect ever since

Is anyone else having the same issues?

Yup...it's been down all day. Glad it happened now instead of last week...I use it to talk to my mom while at school, lol

It's kind of devastating if you rely on skype to communicate to people in different countries on a work day.

Yeah that is fortunate, although I am sure a lot of people would have wanted to use it to wish family and loved ones Christmas greetings.

Same thing here. I was able to talk to Mike on Skype this morning, but a couple of hours later it wouldn't connect and still won't.

As of a very short time ago, skype.com, and skype, is back up.

So its not the update right? I use skype to talk to my family abroad.
