XF 1.1 Site's Base URL Slowing Down Site?

I'm not sure if it's related to my htaccess file or what.

Look at the time between http://8thos.com to http://www.8thos.com when running a test at www.webpagetest.org

Is the .htaccess file rewrite causing this time lag?
