Singular of "smilies" should be "smiley" not "smilie":

Phrases with misspelled values:
  • add_smilie value "Smilie" should be "Smiley"
  • add_smilie_category value "Add smilie category" should be "Add smiley category"
  • edit_smilie value "Edit smilie" should be "Edit smiley"
  • edit_smilie_category value "Edit smilie category" should be "Edit smiley category"
 
This is actually deliberate. @Kier did some research into it and although people may argue that smiley is correct, we don't necessarily agree:
Just did a bit of research into smilie (XF) vs smiley (everyone else) and while ‘smiley’ has become the accepted spelling, it’s actually not orthographically correct - the ‘y’ or ‘ey’ suffix applies to adjectives, so ‘smiley’ actually describes what it’s doing, not what it is, whereas the ‘ie’ suffix applies to nouns - bird(ie) junk(ie) etc., so our ‘smilie’, treating ‘smile’ as an object is more correct
 
although people may argue that smiley is correct,

Their argument would be that the word smiley is not actually noun, but a shortened version of the phrase smiley face, so is still an adjective, albeit divorced from its noun :(
