Singular of "smilies" should be "smiley" not "smilie":

Phrases with misspelled values:
  • add_smilie value "Smilie" should be "Smiley"
  • add_smilie_category value "Add smilie category" should be "Add smiley category"
  • edit_smilie value "Edit smilie" should be "Edit smiley"
  • edit_smilie_category value "Edit smilie category" should be "Edit smiley category"

This is actually deliberate. @Kier did some research into it and although people may argue that smiley is correct, we don't necessarily agree:
Just did a bit of research into smilie (XF) vs smiley (everyone else) and while ‘smiley’ has become the accepted spelling, it’s actually not orthographically correct - the ‘y’ or ‘ey’ suffix applies to adjectives, so ‘smiley’ actually describes what it’s doing, not what it is, whereas the ‘ie’ suffix applies to nouns - bird(ie) junk(ie) etc., so our ‘smilie’, treating ‘smile’ as an object is more correct
