RM 1.1 Single Category Ressource Manager

Is there a way to somehow switch the Ressource Manager into some sort of "Single Category Mode", where the unnecessary step of chosing the category upon creating a ressource is not shown or do I need to manually do this via an additional AddOn?

It's not possible to add resources which are not attached to a category.

That's why I am aiming at only using a single category. What I wanted to ask for is there is a way to remove this particular popup:

and just skip to the ressource creation screen as the obvious choice for the RM would be the only category in existence to put the ressource in.
