I looked at the XML file and it links to images on imgur.com. It would be better to have these images hosted locally to improve loading times and to avoid the risk of the image being deleted/removed.

The thing I want is to be something similar to vBulletin. My forums usually have several different groups (admin, super mod, moderator, staff, contributors, member of the month, normal users, banned), but eventually for the normal users, I want to add three more groups based on Zelda races. So if there is a way we can support for more than 8 groups, that'd be nice.

I can send you custom ranks for free if your interested.

I've got the following in my SimpleStaffRanks template ...
Code:
<center>
<xen:require css="SimpleStaffRanks.css" />
<xen:if is="{$user.is_admin}">
<span class="userrankadmin">Administrator</span>
<xen:elseif is="{$user.is_moderator}" />
<span class="userrankmod">Moderator</span>
<xen:elseif is="{xen:helper ismemberof, $visitor, 22}" />
<span class="userrankvendor">Vendor</span>
<xen:elseif is="{xen:helper ismemberof, $visitor, 17}" />
<span class="userrankpremmbr">Premium Member</span>
<xen:elseif is="{xen:helper ismemberof, $visitor, 25}" />
<span class="userrankmember">Member</span>
<xen:elseif is="{xen:helper ismemberof, $visitor, 2}" />
<span class="userrankregis">Registered User</span>
</xen:if>
</center>
... but the majority of my users are getting the 'Vendor' rank, despite them definantly not being a member (primary or secondary) of that user group (=22)

They are getting 'Vendor' color? Or the word?
