For now, yes (this will change in time).

I've really not yet touched the code and it's still designed from the original release. XenForo 1.1.x changes a few things and so for now, you need to import using 1.0.4 and then you can update to the current XenForo 1.1.3 (or whatever is current).

SMF > XenForo 1.0.4 (used to import SMF) > Update XenForo to current
