I just noticed that guests, whom I have restricted from seeing signatures on the forum, can still view them in user profiles.
Spammers take advantage of this. They register, create spam in their signatures, and they don't even need to post messages - the link is already in their profile.
There is no point in hiding signatures only under posts while still showing them in user profiles. Posting messages is covered by the anti-spam measures, but creating signatures is not.
