sign-up rate per day/week?

what is your average sign-up rate per day or per week ? I mean: how many new members register at your forum per day or per week?

my forum has been dead since a year, but for whatever reason I am getting about 10 new user sign-ups per day since the last week. Not sure what has happened....?

I am wondering if this is good or just average or not much at all ?

It depends entirely on the forum.

Some will be lucky to get 1 day, others will get hundreds.

Well depends on what kind of community board it is . As a totally new forum without any advertisment anywhere i am getting nice unique visits / 2-3 new sign-up's every 2-3days .

do you think hiding member-profiles to guests would increase the sign-up rate for a dating-site?

If someone is serious enough about E-dating they will sure jump over and sign up i guess .

it took me 3 days to manually clean up the mess:

300 users
out of that about 30 users (10%) are spammers

still not finished with the work......

XF needs a proper automatic build-in check with StopForumSpam and other Blacklists. Doing this manually is crazy
