Sidebar boxes - border

I want to put a gray 1px border around my side boxes, as they look a bit wishy washy otherwise.

I've changed the Secondary Content option in the style properties to do this but I've noticed that its changed other stuff elsewhere as a consequence.

Is there a way to only apply the change to the sideboxes?

the following should work by throwing the following in extra or you could do it via SP

.sidebar .section {
    border: 1px solid grey; }
