Managing reports through the report center alone is a real challenge for larger forums. Constantly switching between the report center and the actual content to handle issues is time-consuming and inefficient. It’s clear that XenForo needs a feature where moderators can see report indicators directly on threads or posts during regular browsing.
For smaller boards like mine, this isn’t a critical issue. But I’ve been helping a large board with over 30K users and 100+ reports daily, and they’re considering switching from phpBB to XenForo. On phpBB, moderators can see flags on threads and posts with open reports, which makes it much easier to keep up. Without a similar system in XenForo, it’s almost impossible for them to handle reports effectively, and this could be a dealbreaker for their migration.
This feature would be a game-changer for high-traffic forums, improving efficiency and making XenForo even more appealing to large communities.
Is there already a workaround or add-on for something like this? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
