Unless there's something I'm missing, this doesn't work on 1.5.16. There's no options to set and there's no option to set permissions. Pretty much a non-starter - Uninstalled.

1. I just checked and it's working as advertised on version 1.5.21

2. No options are needed. If you have permissions to edit someon else's post, this add-on will kick in. If you don't have permissions to edit, obviousdly there's no need for it.

I have permissions to edit any post anywhere on the forum. I edited 4 or 5 and they did not show the advertised username of moderator in "last edited by" caption.

Note that it will only show if you edit someone else's post, not on your own posts.

Also not that the relevant permissions are not about posting permissions but about Moderator permissions.

I edited other users' posts.

I'm a root admin and a moderator. I have all permissions for users, moderators and admins.

It's not important. I've moved on. Thanks for posting.
