Shoutbox - Opinions

What would you look for in a shoutbox?
Certain features? Types of storage? Options?
On forum list? Different page? Etc.

I will list the requests in this first post.. looking for a good feature list to add to my product.

I simply want an ajax based chat system as specified in my thread here

It needs to be fully integrated into the forum so once logged in you can use the chat page without waiting for a 3rd party app' such as irc to load.
Admins and Mods should be able to delete messages.
Smilies and BB Code should be available, so people can post images, etc.

There should be settings in the ACP to set the number of messages shown in the history and also be able to prune the table on a cron job.

That's all I can think of for now

1. You should have the ability to set the chat on forumhome, thread display, postbit collectively or individually.
2. A spam containment option upon a click of a button the line is removed (usefully for profanity).
3. A filter system/option in the admincp.

Right, I am basing the majority off of the basis of your thread, looking for more to build in.
Cron job settings, that will be fun to do
