Why does my fb like button says error?

and when I click on it, it says: "skin must be one of the following values: light, dark"

Did you select either light or dark in the Style Properties -> General -> Facebook Color schemes?

I don't see Facebook Color schemes in there.. I have no idea if it was changed, I hired someone to customize the forum styles for me. Now I regret it because my site is all messed up.

Go into your ACP. Click on Style drop down on the Style Properties section and select the style you use. Once you do that, select the General section and then you will see the Facebook Color Schemes. Select light or dark if none are selected. Then update the style via the button at the bottom.
